Yeah, I need to make both headlight bulbs the same.

The picture I have in the previous post is a Xenon HID Headlight bulb, right?
The one the picture auto levels after starting he car.

Cheers

The one you are showing is a HID. Here are pics of Son and I removing the lens on his 08 C30, cleaning and installing Halos / Angel Eyes in front of the Low Beam HID round lens. The HID will have a large round lens whereas the Halogen High (C30) or Low Beam just has reflectors.

Take a closer look as Volvo indicates both bulbs like the C30. HID for high and Halogen for low. EDIT: HID for Low and Halogen for High.

Just thinking. Maybe I am mistaking. The car definitely has one HID. The other driver's side bulb I know may just be a different temperature. The one I showed, has much higher temperature and automatically adjusts after the car is started.

Are all the Volvo's HID auto-leveling?

Our C30 has the headlight level sensor in the right lower inner fender well in the front of the strut assembly. It looks like the P2's are in the rear suspension.

I recently needed to replace the daytime running lights on my 2007 XC90. The Amazon listing was not accurate for the compatibility i.e., "fits your vehicle". Also, the Volvo manual did not have a listing for the correct size either. Bought H11 and H7 based on online research.
I finally removed the DRLs and saw that they were H10 9145 bulbs. (which is what I should have done to start)
I bought LED replacements form Amazon. Worked for a day. Then stopped.
Finally, I bought halogen H10 9145 bulbs from Walmart. Works without issue.
The HIDs are different, and I replaced those a few years ago.
If you do not have HIDs then I would suggest removing the bulb and looking at the base just to be sure.
They are very easy to replace.

I got some interior LED bulbs. I have them in my other XC70s, I love them. I also got this but have not gotten to replace them yet. It came with two gloves; so those things are that sensitive?

By the way, you have ever used those LED strips? I really would like to get and install them. Some owners claim the ones they installed went doll after a few months. I am trying to have another option of driving light without using the headlight (to last longer). Here in Anchorage, we have much longer dark days where the driving lights come handy. Would be nice if I could have the LED strip to suffice and save my head light HID bulbs.

Cheers!
