I went out and tried it again. Nope, still wont fit. When I said 4mm, it was a guestimate. Its actually about 1/4 to 1/2 inch on either side. Is it possible that the Non-ABS pads are thinner than the ABS pads? I thought the car was an ABS model because it has a big black box on the left side of the engine bay that says "ABS". Ughh, Im tired. Thanks again yall.

I think it is safe to say you have ABS. The pads for non-ABS have a different part number but I don't know what the difference is. I would not have thought they would be thinner.

The rotor thickness at 26mm is correct for the Girling system. Those for Bendix should be 22mm.

At the risk of annoying you can I ask if you have pushed the piston as far into the caliper as it will go?

hahah, There is no way that I could be annoyed by anyone who is trying to help me. Yes, I pushed the caliper-piston as far back as it would go. Some brake fluid came out of the reservoir. Is that normal?

Yes, that happens. As long as you have cleaned it up and washed the area with plenty of water it should not cause any harm. In future to prevent it happening remove some of the fluid from the reservoir with a syringe or one of those gadgets used for basting meat.

I assume you have still not got the pads in.
