Fast forward to last night. Plugged the DEM back in but pulled fuse 23. I was able to see all modules (except DEM of coarse). Cleared the SRS codes and drove it to work and back today. Still not sure if I've solved anything, time will tell. I guess it could be the DIM too but going to be hard to pin point that.

It may not help if the PCB received any physical damage to the CAN-related circuitry.

Try cleaning the main CEM connector with circuit cleaner, both sides.
'94 940 wagon, 220K miles- sold to a guy who then drove it to Oklahoma
