The other thread documented my trouble keeping those lines on at the rubber to copper pipe junctions. You can’t just slip them on and clamp, they need roughing, slight flare , and clamping. Mine took 5000 miles to pop off

Are you still planning to fit the Prop=shaft and VC unit back on or leave as is? If you don't really need the AWD you may want to just leave them off and run in FWD. It is possible to remove the angle gear as well and clamp the connector shaft in place as some have done with a couple of pipe clamps.

That will give you better mileage and less to drag around!
