Definitely the better option, too me.

didn't know that one yet. Thanks!

After updating the dash and rear speakers I did the doors today. Meh, I hate audio work, nothing fits, I had to resize the adapters etc. But I think it came out good. Not sure if it was worth the work (2 days for all 8 speakers), but it is done.

Today I have cleaned the engine bay.
Nothing fancy, no plastic shine just good ol' soapy water and brush. The passenger side water drain hose was clogged all the way, lol.

Other than that I have soldered in spare Relais' into my troubled IMMO Module per xanthefin's suggestion.
Test run forthcoming.

I'm working on the sunroof this week. Not really comfortable with this job, but leaving it to rust also isn't an option at this point. Half the glass came off the severely rusted frame, the other half was hard to remove. Sadly I scratched the glass during removal, but I will live with that.

Still in progress. I fixed the frame to my ability (rust converter+sealer), cleaned everything and glued it together again today. Not sure I did it right, but I did the best I could.
I do have a new original gasket, bought it after I got the car but never started the job. That will be the next part, hope I get all this right enough.

Cranks m fires , rough idle , then stalls. Feels the poor fuel delivery problem. Hope the pump hasn’t come loose.

Got the solid tow bar out and recovered it home Have to travel out of town this weekend so no time to diagnose until next week

Flashers ran battery out in 15 minutes, 5 year old battery.

Not sure I followed up on this. I ran out of gas. Idiot!

Sure, I installed it again today, so done with it for now. It is still binding a bit on the rear, but I could not adjust it any better. Hope that goes away with the gasket getting in form somehow.

I replaced all 4 wheel bearings as a precaution. On my 2002 S80 with approx 230K kms a wheel bearing had started to make noise and I figured on the one year older and 30K kms more experienced C70 its factory original bearings would not be far behind.
On the S80, 3 of the 4 bearings showed signs of getting close to worn out. In the C70, interestingly, all 4 bearings felt like new! It was a bear to get the front ones out. Heat, pounding and angle grinding involved. The rears were super easy with that one large nut holding them on.
Anyways, should be good for the next twenty years ...
