VIDA 2014D_Repack install on Windows 10, any version.

Good day again,

is anyone able to post the md5 checksum of a _known for good_ installation VIDA2014D_RePack.iso, please ?

The md5 checksum of the iso here is:
b9fb18eaa490f23a73425dff5603c147

I want to make sure that the issue here is not due to a corrupt image file.

With the available iso file installation in WIN7 os is not successful.
At point 2, executing 02_VIDA.CMD, the installation does start but does not proceed further than opening two windows, showing the blue progression bar, starting alba.exe and soon after remains without further activity.

Unfortunately I have no WIN10 system at hands to proceed with the iso...to investigate further.

The blue installer bar does not make any progress...

It can take a long time on slow hardware.

Could it be that the iso is faulty, the md5 has signature here is b9fb18eaa490f23a73425dff5603c147.

Meanwhile I was able to install on a borrowed Win10 o/s computer.
Up and running.
Thus, no need for forum members for further support activity at this point.

Thank you for the md5 information.
And, no, it is not the hardware as this is known to be a very fast performer.
I assume that I made the mistake not to have mounted the iso as drive and ran the script from the directory of the unpacked iso, instead.
Thus, the system was missing the correct path information to perform accordingly.
Waiting for Godot...

Having trouble with VIDA. I have gotten to the login page and get this error. Any ideas?

Hello! New Forum Member here. I have installed VIDA 2014D on a Windows 10 Laptop with minimal issues thanks to the excellent instructions provided. Like others, I am unable to log on to VIDA. I receive the following: Unknow error. Plese contact your local helpdesk Could not contact control systems.

I've read that it is due to an expired date in the license. I checked the date in Notepad and it has a 2099 date so there must be something else going on.

I'm so close to having VIDA functional! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Still cannot login to VIDA. I now get a screen that says WSL login then it cancels and asks to refresh? No luck.
I have uninstalled SQL, VIDA and reinstalled. Then this comes up when trying to login. Any ideas?
After I cancel the WSL login screen, I am back to the login screen with this on it in a box.

Hiya im new with all this . i installed vida all OK its green and seems to work , my issue is this . It cant find my dice , ive removed old files for dice and used the file on iso to get new drives . wont work have restarded lapptopp and so on . my dice is showing teh right lights when connected to car . but vida cant find it . any suggestions to fix this . ( i think this dice is bought for like 6-7 years ago , but i stopped to use it when 2013 was shutted off and started now with it . can the dice be to old or somthing HELP a newbi

Sounds like WSL is running on the same port as Vida.

Options:
1. Change the port in WSL.
2. Uninstall WSL in Windows features.

but vida cant find it .

Run the DiCE Dianostics software. It was installed when you installed Vida. Look for it in the Start Menu under DiCE.

Are you getting a Red X in the Communication Tool Pull down? .. If so, read the last part of the install instructions on page 1.
