At the instruction of 'the boss' I ordered the full fat blue box item at the ridiculous price. The history has no evidence of a new one at any point. As the car is mainly city driven, lots of heat cycles. As my son owns the car now but he works from our home, he does not use the car a lot. Over the winter my wife drives it so it get used, and the old 'R' goes into hibernation. As neither are 'car orientated' I feel replacing it before it fails is probably a good idea as it is likely they may not catch it or recognize the issue before too late.

Blue box item is shipped and on it's way.

Thanks guys for the input. If I was the main driver I would have possibly gone the aftermarket root with a good aftermarket manufacturer. Mind you these days are OE parts any better?
