Even though the o-ring looks fine, the sensor could still have gone bad...these items just break with time.

thanks for replying.
just want to make sue that the boost pressure sensor and the map are the same thing cause the error code po237 is for the boost pressure sensor. and my car is running fine it just has the checkengine light on. so would that closly relate to a sensor problem or somthing else. because i dont want to buy a sensor if i dont have too.

That is correct, the boost pressure sensor is the MAP sensor, I spent $90 on the unit and the CEL light went off after I installed it. Word of advice, be very careful and patient when removing and installing the MAP sensor, the plastic clips holding it in place look very fragile. My symptoms with the P0237 error code was a rough engine idle during start up when the engine was cold, but then settled quickly after a few seconds.

alright that would make sense mine would have a in and out idling too when cold.

That is the manifold temperature sensor on a ME7 (2001?) turbo car
