I'd rather say: Your car is a '95 GLT so it's a turbo one, the "T" in the GLT stands for Turbo.
The non - Turbo models are the GLE ...
I would rather NOT :?:
YOU ARE WRONG

No such a car exists, (No GLEs for 850s)
GLT were NON turbos until 1997 when the 2.4T engine came out and became the GLT
Up to 1997, 1994-96 a turbo 850 is called a 850 Turbo or an 850R (95 is called an 850T5R)

(Oh and the T in 95-96 is for TOURING)

I really find it annoying when someone posts so definitively, knows absolutely NOTHING and is WRONG

Calm down Francis!

My car is a GLT, it is a '95 model, the engine in my car is from a '94 model that was also a GLT, neither engine I've had in my car have been turbo. No GLT was turbo until 1997. With 200+ post count I'd expect more from you.

I did learn something though, I've never heard of the GLE, so I Googled it. Looks like it's referred to as a GLE/GLT in the few hits that Google turns up. Google attempts to correct the spelling of GLE to GLT, so I'd say they aren't real common.

I'm calm enough :) ...
I don't know about Google, but I've seen a couple of GLTs on the road with my own two eyes.
Maybe it is a Canadian imported model only, but I remember having seen it live.

This is the oil problem I had with my old V70 2.4T...

Image

...I tried everything under the sun to solve the problem, but nothing worked until I bought the most logical thing (which I should have done FIRST): A new oil filler cap

http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exec/p ... 98-2007%29

and it solved the issue for less than $10..

No mo' oil under the cover...

Assuming you mean GLEs... I did find that GLE means Grand Luxury Executive, and GLT means Grand Luxury Touring. Though I can not substantiate either of those as fact. Wiki doesn't list the GLE for any of the models, I found some stuff referring to the GLE as the 10 valve engined cars, but further research showed that's probably not accurate either. I'd really like to know about them though.

"OLD!?!?" That thing is brand new, even coil on plug, it's still a babe

Yes a leaky oil filler cap gasket and/or sloppy oil changes are the typical culprits of oil under the plastic engine cover.

There are no 850 GLE's. GLT means Grand Luxury Touring; as JRL said earlier the only turbo GLT's were the LPT 97 ones.

Again NO
I don't give a rat's ass what that says, there never was a "GLE" on the street.
They may have called it in certain nomenclature but no car NEVER had an GLE emblem on it's trunk!
I can show you many "Volvo" brochures and papers and I can show you countless mistakes

Well, as I already said, I've seen it with my own two eyes live.
Also, I am not a big fan of the word NEVER ...
Maybe never in your town, city, or country, but maybe even not ...
Canada is in North America, so I am not mentioning the continent in the NEVER thing ...
