Torque Wrench spec when reinstalling wheels

I've always seen it recommended that torque wrenches be set to the lowest figure on the scale for storage.

j-dawg, that is correct, "recommended" to store at the lowest setting. How important that is I don't know, but they say if you store it loaded (or drop the wrench) then it will need to be recalibrated.

I leave an allen key wedged in the small hole, that way I can always quickly set/unset my torque wrench and then I wrap it in layers of bubble wrap and drop it just because I can :-)
