The late P80 (Bastards) and the P2 cars have a built in solenoid bypass wire in a white connector in the underhood fusebox.

There are pictures in a thread in the P80 Forum, too.

Search 'remote starter solenoid connection' and find...

Does anyone know the location of the starter relay for a 2006 S60 2.5T (auto)?

Here’s the diagram for 2005 P2. I think your S60 is the same?
