No cruise control on the fly by wire 1999+ models. You don't have a mechanical throttle linkage to open, the ECU does it electronically.

For all the downsides of the $500 ETB, the upside is no:

Cruise control vacuum pump, motor, hoses
throttle cable
Idle air control valve
Distributor, cap rotor
spark plug wires
Empty Nester
A Captain in a Sea of Estrogen

I am seeing the (-) minus sign on the position indication of my 2008 S60 2.5T. I am about to buy and have shipped to Abu Dhabi desert town of Ruwais a PNP switch based on the minus sign indication. I have a hard shifting condition from 1st to 2nd. However, this one thing is bothering me, When starting the car in Park, the indication is fine, the Reverse R indication is fine, the neutral N indication is fine, the drive D indication is fine, the manual indications of 1,2,3 is fine, the W for winter mode is fine. The indication only goes to minus after driving about 30 seconds. I don't yet have a Volvo code reader. A commendation on that would be helpful as well. This condition only happened after i replaced the blown engine at 250k miles.
Thanks
Mark
