2002 c70 2.3 hard starting

got vida running after a week of trying to load software.got IMM-233 antenna ring no connection and ECM-720A antenna ring no connection and CDM-000D commuication ecm internal fault....................

i see it know key 1 is in switch,but has no response vgla is low.what else should i look for????and what next thing to look for

Ah hell if this is the first time in. Clear all the codes and see what comes back. Some of the codes maybe artifacts from problems long gone. Abscate has another post going where he has starting problems until he cleared a IMM related code.

clear all the code and ecm-720 come back up...........run the battery down. Charging up to recheck tomorrow

I'm gravitating toward the sloppy splices on the immobilizer loom. Some of them wires are suppose to be twisted pairs all the way to the connector, to minimize Crosstalk. Also poor solder joints can degrade the communication signal.

I cannot tell from the picture, are the splices soldered and soldered well or them dam crimp connectors?

I totally missed those splices

Those won’t work. You need some rewiring help from an experienced electrician. There are twisted pair comm links on the antenna ring that need to be done right.

i didt wire them this is how i got car in two months ago,the seller had someone replace immobilizer and Antenna ring and all the parts chasing to fix car.....it never got fix so.all code are clear except the ecm-720 my Question is what VGLA output =low and blanking procedure = no
