Bugger, doesn’t want to start this morning... here we go again. Pulled a p0303 code last night at idle, missing in cyl 3, I suspect that was from start up as it was very rough for the first 15mins. Idles this morning for 30 mins, exhaust stopped smoking and spewing white smoke. I turned it off To go have breaky. Came back and she doesn’t want to fire. No codes, sounds like no spark. I’ll post up some more when I have a better look at it.

Time to run through all those vacuum hoses. Replace all.
Those misfire codes aren’t too useful when it is running rough,

Hey guys
Ok so just got home fired the c70 straight up, with a bit of help with accelerator to get the revs up, then let and it idle, has a slight miss.
Let it idle for around 20 mins, got up to temp, cycled all the A/c. All is good. Heater core is nice and leak free again
.
Turned it off and back on, fired straight back up so I thought I’d take it for a test drive.
It won’t get out of our drive (very steep) I must say but it feels like a limp mode sort of thing, rough acceleration and won’t go past 2000-2200 revs.
Still no codes!! I’m starting to think this code reader is rubbish.
Does anyone know of any similar cases? Or any suggestions I’m thinking possible timing problem?

Get VIDA/DiCE, cut out a lot of uncertainty and get better information.

Ok, is thee any specific brand or should I stay with Volvo. They are quite pricey. I understand my Volvo is compatible with vida or the j2534 as it’s too old. Not 100% up to speed with these protocols
