Thank you for sharing Paul.
The outer of the o'ring was shredded a little, so replaced it with Volvo's new green o'ring. Volvo ps fluid is holding level -- new reservoir.
My crow foot set did not come with 16mm, but both, our V70XC and XC90 pressure hoses take SAE 5/8.
Although the screw for the tensioner was not easy to wrench, but seating tensioner was a good design and engineering -- a tailored fit!

A 700 miles road trip with close to 500 miles on I-65 went really well. The A/C ran frequently, wet conditions through out the return drive home with one extreme braking situation.
The maintenance is holding well. But rear driver tire lost pressure while pulling in drive way -- it is a year old tire set under warranty. I'm offered all four new tires but no warranty OR just one with no warranty where the three will keep original warranty.
I like the all four new replacement, but No Warranty is making me uneasy, your thoughts?

Servicing Haldex 4. The pump will clear the propellar shaft when removing. But struggling with unplugging of the two connecters -- any tip?

Why Volvo wouldn't include a protective cover like the one under the engine. Salted roads and oxidation makes the job way harder in tighter spaces. Filter cover is off after overnight PB and gentle tap, pump assembly is stubborn. Non residue paper tape over the electrical connector for dust protection.
The connector takes inserting a small screw driver in the rectangular pocket, and then a gentle lift action will free up the tab -- like picking up sugar in a spoon.

It looks like you got it all apart.
Are you still struggling with those connectors?
Looking at your last picture the fluid pickup screen on the pump looks very clean is this how it came out or after cleaning?
I've only changed the fluid and filter and I haven't removed the pump to clean the screen.
I don't have the Volvo instructions for filling and priming but here are the Land Rover instructions in case you need them
Raise and support the vehicle.
1.No provision is made to fully drain the active on-demand coupling.
During repair procedures, fluid will be lost. A container should be
positioned to collect any spillage.
2. CAUTION: This is a filler plug only and must
not be used as a fluid level indicator.
Make sure the vehicle is level. Remove the filler plug
and discard the sealing washer.
3. Fill the active on-demand coupling, until a thin thread of fluid runs
from the filler hole.
4. Install the active on-demand fluid filler plug.
6. Turn the ignition on for 5 minutes.
7. Turn the ignition off and remove the remote handset.
Fill the active on-demand coupling, until a thin thread of fluid runs
from the filler hole.
8. CAUTION: This is a filler plug only and must not be used as
a fluid level indicator.
Using a syringe, remove exactly 70 ml of fluid.
Take care

The screen at pump had few blobs. Unscrewed it from the assembly before a brake cleaner rinse. Also removed the casing over the motor, and shower the brushes with brake cleaner -- lots of black powder and dust. Assembled it back after few hours of drying.
The filter was really dirty. The inside of the filter looks packed with grime, here it is after the dark fluid dripped off.

VIDA Says:
Initial fill: Fill AOC til fluid escapes to single drop. Close the port and then drive to circulate fluid.
Final fill: Fill AOC til fluid escapes to single drop. Now draw out 40ml (40cc). Close the port with new o'ring - tighten to 35Nm.
It is now back running.

ALERT: The Black Powder Dust Found in Pump Motor.
Graphite is used as a lubricant due to its slippery nature. ... Due to its loosely intact carbon atoms or free electrons, they can move around easily from one place to another, making graphite a good conductor of electricity.
Do I go back and restore the graphite powder content found inside the pump motor?
