It's an egg crate? Hmm... I'll have to make sure the '90 grille works on the non-fog light 940s. I think '90 was supposed to be a special year with minor differences from newer and older cars.

The '90 740 egg crate grille is gray, Volvo part number 1369619.

What I have is the '90 740 black waterfall grill. Marked Volvo part number 1369618 which does not show up in the parts database. Vida list 1369616 Black grille with chromed frame. Typo or 1369616 is with fog light and 1369618 is without?

I pulled it off a 1990 740 without fog lights. We test fitted it on a 940 without fog lights and it fit, I don't recall what year the 940 was.

Ah, I see now. Yeah, I think I'm going to have to get creative and make my own egg crate with the current grille. The '90 740 is the only non-fog light car to come with the egg crate, and the '90 grille won't fit newer cars because of the slightly different hood and headlight trim pieces.

The information I found is a mixed bag. Some sources indicate it will fit 90 - 92 740/940.
If I could recall what year that 940 is, it would be a big help.

Looks like the SIP goes to the head. Couldn't tell on the red one.
