I've never messed with the hog rings, but with the angles you need to get at with the inner rods I think the zip ties are easier than trying to get the pliers in there.
But the outside ones should be easy to get at with hog rings.

Nah hog rings are faster. Also, they will never break.

Valley pan cover part of coolant system overhaul revisited. I blame FCP for selling the wrong gasket and myself for not confirming fitment 🤯

You can attach with zip ties rather than hog rings
Yes, zip ties are much easier than hog rings when installing the seat covers. I've done this multiple times, nobody will know the difference!
Why are zip ties easier? I've always used hog rings and it's quick and easy.
+1 for hog rings. Easier to get in and clip and no tails to flush cut. Rings can be attached single handedly leaving the other hand free to stretch skin and contort foam. More expensive than ties though - I paid $40 for pliers and 250 rings including freight around the world. Maybe 25 rings used in one seat.

There’s the other shoe dropping. Bmdub and I steal the zip ties from the orphanage, so they are free. A stolen dental pick ( wait until the. Hygienist turns, then grab one quickly) works to release the zip tie clip.

Yep, only thing that keeps me going to the dentist! Gotta love the free dental picks!

You guys are going to give us a bad reputation. At least buy the dental picks from the flea market where there is a middle man getting them from who knows where.
