hello to you all!

I'm you in this forum because I switched from Volkswagen to Volvo one year ago after a capital engine failure of the 1.4 twin charger tsi in my Škoda Fabia.
Now I own a C70 Volvo. It's in quite good shape and condition. The engine is the 2.5 turbo 193hp.
Last weekend i bought a BSR Chiptuning device and tried it some days ago.
the difference is quite amazing and you can feel the torque in the mid range very good.
I hope I will have a good time with Volvo after almost twenty-five years of Volkswagen. Best greetings from Austria in Europe,

Inschineer

Welcome!

I changed my fuel filter today, at 194k mi. I'm hoping it had been done at some point in the past, even if I can't find any evidence in the service history. It was pretty nasty, as was the fuel that came out of it!

Picked up an engine for the S70! I'll have to check over everything that I have, but I'm pretty sure all I need is a tube of anaerobic sealant and the PCV oil trap and I have everything to do the refresh.
Now I really need to get some work done on the XC90... auxiliary trans cooler and fluid change are high on the list after the timing cover reseal. No more towing until I get that done.... is what I said two tows ago

Yeah... I'm only slightly paranoid about the state of my injectors and what that fuel has done to my internals. Only slightly.

The car came with really comprehensive history from a well regarded Volvo specialist so I'm really hoping it's been done at least once or twice in its life and I'm just being blind.

Have the injectors cleaned. Look for this service in your city or town. Use Google search to see the shops’ star ratings.

Man, that is nasty! It might be worth checking fuel quality at the rail to make sure it is staying clean over the next year
