There’s plenty of room to drop a wire. Chafe relief it with heavy tape or hose though.

Hi,

Where, other than the tube?
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

Plenty of room Around the relay bracket under the main fuse box. Be sure you zip tie off the wire so it doesn’t chafe against moving parts like the pedal cluster or steering gear.

I dropped a 12 V accessory plug on Evita using this method

Hi,

Can you show me where that is on this photo?

Note that the hole with the missing relay does not show light when a light is shone up from below inside the cabin.

Thanks.

This isn't hard. I wish I wasn't still having issues with downloading pictures, so I could post one (1000 words etc ).
I'm using a fuse tap for one of my accessories, and I just drilled a small ( 1/8" ) hole down through the thin plastic base that the fuse block is mounted to. In the above pic, the space between the weather seal and the block, left side just before the angle starts. I notched the rubber piece that is just out of sight in the pic ( lower left ) for the wire to pass through the block to the fuse.

Hi,

I see torx head screws can you remove that whole fuse block up a little to get under it to pass a wire?

Maybe, but that plastic is brittle, so I would keep it simple, and not remove any more than necessary. Much like an old house, one thing can quickly lead to another.
Look at it this way; there is only 1/16" of plastic keeping you from victory. Drill the little hole, and be done with it. And in the future if you no longer needed it, you can put a dab of silicone over it and no one will tell.

Sounds interesting.

The hole i need would have to be around 3/8 inch diameter (0.375 inch diameter).

In that case, I'd go back to the factory tube. I just had to run one power supply wire from the fuse block. Picked up the ground once inside the car.
