I've decided to throw in the towel on this project. I came to this site to, "Save the Brick"..... It's been on ongoing project for the past year. I've put alot of money with parts and paying a volvo mechanic over the past year. My last attempt was replacing the ignition switch and the coolant temp sensor. It ran good for the first 30 mins with no signs of black exhaust soot or irregular idle. Towards the end before stall the exhaust showed a hint of black soot.... shortly afterwards she stalled out. Waited a few mins then she started back up. NIce idle with that same hint of black soot.
Keep a look out on Craigslist and Ebay for the sale... Need a part??? just let me know!!!! I figure parting it out I'd get more money back than selling it whole
