Have you selected the transmission type and clicked OK?

Also under Partner/Group choose Ame

Yes I did that too. Which position is the key supposed to be II, III or engine running? I tried on I, II, and III.

I get greyed out communication tab on my Vida install until transmission/engine is selected and I click OK.

Even with no Dice connected the above is true.

Pos II for ignition

Sorry obvious question but are you clicking OK after selection?

Also choose Ame under Partner Group as stated in previous post?

Never had to do that with either of my Vida installations, but what the heck you've tried everything else!!

precopster, you were right again. I forgot totally the most obvious, to click OK !!
I am going to install adobe acrobat printer so I can get a copy of the results.
So far I see the same OBD II codes but in Volvo language; 9150 9150 9170.
I need more and detailed info from it.

It seems that it is working only, I have difficulties understanding the Swedish accent

ECM-913C Throttle valve Faulty signal
ECM-9150 Throttle unit, potentiometer 1 signal too high
ECM-9160 Throttle unit, potentiometer 2 signal too low
ECM-9170 Throttle valve Faulty signal

then a lot of
Checking for knocking and rasping
Checking injectors etc etc

explanation for ECM-9150
-Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminal between the engine control module and the throttle unit
-Open circuit or short circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
-Open circuit in the signal ground cable for potentiometer 1 and 2
-Defective throttle unit

I had these possibilities in mind 3 weeks ago. But I expected to get a better answer with Dice Vida.
So how do I narrow it down before buying a Throttle box then realizing I only needed to change the cables or vice-versa?

Remember
I cleaned the throttle box mainly because I was cleaning the PCV. Although I had rarely but still sometimes this oscillating idle that would come on as I started the (cold) engine. I would stop the engine after a minute or so and restart, the engine would fire with a normal (constant) idle. I would be to take over other cars like a F15.

Looks like you'll be visiting a sponsor's site to buy a new throttle unit. Choose a Bosch unit as this is as good as what the factory provided.

I'm assuming you've checked the throttle unit connector and terminals for corrosion?
