Sorry for the delay in posting. The new Bosch ECT took care of it all ... car starts GREAT when cold. I guess the one from NAPA had me on a goose chase thinking it should work because it's a new part.... think again. BUY GOOD PARTS, PERIOD!

I do have one other flaky thing going on that I've seen post but not answer. My Tachometer does weird things. I can be going 55 mph and the tach is where it should be and next thing it is up at 3500 RPM with no change in the way the car runs .... or I can be at idle and it running great and tach drops to 100 RPMs ... when it does these things it doesn't effect the way the motor runs but I would like to fix it. Any ideas?

Did you find a part number on the brass part of the NAPA sensor?

It was a FAE sensor from NAPA made in Spain .. it's gone in the garbage where it belongs.
