Just threw another two-fitty into the pit!
Ordered new Suplex rear springs, seats and retainer washers, along with both trailing arm bushings. Got a package of saw-zall blades for the bushings. They are tough to remove. Got a pair of front brake hoses too. Betcha that opens a rusty can of worms!
FCP luv me longtime

I am hoping the bushings sit far enough to the inner side of the sub-frame that there looks like there is enough access for a grease gun and a flexi-pipe to get to it from under the car accessing from the inner side of the frame.
I'll let you know when I get there at some point! Still painting, and just took the rear IPD ant-sway bar to powder coating. The idiot I spoke to a few months ago there told me that the bushings for the rear bar are not available separately. I didn't take it apart and had planned to just rub-down and paint to remove all the rust blisters in the original coating. Speaking to Kevin there a couple of days ago I now find out the bushing IS available separately for $1 each! If I had know that I could have taken the bar and had it coated as a batch price with all the other stuff I had done. Now it will cost me an extra $120 as it turns out the bushes sit on the powder coating. Painting would be too thick, and no paint would make them loose. Add to that, the have $8.00 (the size of a fist) of bushings shipped coast $32!
I now have to wait another 3 weeks for the bar to return as the coaters are busy. Not a happy man.
No, I am becoming a much lesser fan of IPD!
Neil.

Wow, that sucks! I'll assume a '00 V70R is AWD, and you have a different rear anti-sway bar than the FWD cars

You are correct on that. The V70 R is AWD and many parts are hard to find. Clips for the parking brake cable to hold it into the wheel back plate are obsolete! Found some in Australia and they arrived last week. 6 of the last 17 known to Volvo!
There was an option for a rear anti-sway bar for FWD cars according to Vida, that is the same as for the AWD. There are 2 end links like for the front anti-sway bar and the bushes I was needing are the 2 for the central mounts, as well as the polybush options from IPD for the end links (I also have new OE rubber versions).
I wish you good luck and good hunting for parts at a reasonable price. Just don't let it run away with you like it did with me. I daren't add up the latest cost for the rear sub-frame rebuild as it must be near $5k by now. Add that to the other $13k already spent on the front and interior of the car!

Small correction:
"There was an option to have a rear swaybar for FWD cars according to Vida."
FWD and AWD swaybars are not interchangeable in any shape or form. Vida mentions this option as depending on trim level / market adjustments per country / engince choice the rear swaybar wasn't always part of the standard equipment. Most commonly the N/A engined cars didn't get one.
AWD cars had one 99% of the time, the exception are some S70 AWDs that came without a rear swaybar.

A few pics on a crisp fall day...car runs and rides great. Hard to believe there's over 200k on it.

I still need to replace the entire braking system. Gotta get winter tires too. I will add an IPD exhaust in the spring.

Thanks!
I'm slowly & surely "getting there" I replaced the rotted sunroof and put a new seal on a couple weeks ago...$290. I was getting water in the trunk every time it rained
Put new trunk lifts in it yesterday...$32
Bought 4 steel rims for $40, 3 are 6 1/2" wide and 1 is 6" wide...Grrr
I need to replace all the coolant and turbo oil hoses, do a complete brake job including calipers, rotors, shoes & pads, hardware and parking brake cables. There's another couple grand
I'm also hearing what sure sounds like a failing front wheel bearing. It never ends
