1994 850 HVAC Question

My -256 dimensions: (in inches)

Faceplate alone: 8.00 wide x 3.25 tall x 0.117 thick
Faceplate backing: 7.75 x 3.25 x (0.704-0.117)
Section 1: 6.88 x 3.00 x 1.50
Section 2: 6.88 x (2.50 tapering to 1.88) x 6.75 (overall depth from front of faceplate to rear)

What do you measure on the newer units?
