Just picked the Volvo up from the dealer, after some A/C desinfection. Here are the promised photos!

Wow! Thats a beautiful car! I've not seen cloth interior on one of these, they all seem to be leather in North America. Is it Diesel?

Thanks!
It was actually the least expensive interior. I'm happy to have found a non-leathered interior, as for me it always feels cold in winter and hot in summer. Maybe cloth interiors were not sold in North America?
The Volvo is a 5-gear manual shifter and has a non-Turbo 2.4 liter petrol/ gasoline engine with 170 HP. It's not overpowered but rather a smooth cruiser which does most work in 5th gear. The car had only one (1) previous owner who kept good care of it, as it only had some 81,000 miles on the clock.
It has cruise control, sun roof and 12V plugs as extras.

I totally adore this beauty.

Not a lot happening with Kära recently. She performed flawlessly during Christmas taking us through Glencoe and beyond Fort William to the highlands and back.

Today was another small job completed that gave great satisfaction when done. When I bought the car I noticed the fusebox cover in the engine bay had a broken tab which meant it wouldn't click into position at one side. Last Saturday I managed to find a replacement on eBay and it arrived yesterday so I fitted it today. £10 well spent...

Was looking into hard start problem in deep freezing temps and found the problem. What part number is it? Should I stick with OE or is there a good aftermarket product that people typically replace OE with?

Rear brakes on the kids 05 XC90 2.5T today. Parking brake has never worked in the two years we’ve owned it.

Previous owner/mechanic slapped pads on it at some point, leaving the rotors which were pretty spent. And the shoes—oh boy. They are supposed to have brake material on them right?

Overall a not too miserable of a job. The forks holding the shoes were completely seized/rusted, at least the pivot that actuated the park brake was free. Lots of wire wheel work!
