Obviously, adding it to the intake seems to be the most effective.
Can we hear some more reports from those who have just put it in the crankcase and the gas tank? Preferably from those who haven't done the intake yet.
I'd like to gauge the effectiveness of just doing the crank and the fuel tank first and the intake a bit later.
Seafoam, interesting stuff
Actually that's exactly just what I did.
I put about 3/8 in the gastank 3/8 down a tube to the PCV oil trap and 1/4 in the oil fill.
Drove it 1300 some miles half way across the country and just changed the oil an hour or so ago.
The oil seemed to have a slight red tint and the viscosity seemed lower than usual (for what thats worth) that's about all I can say so far. I am gonna change out the PCV system (replace it all with new components) within 2 weeks and check to see if the old one (which I am quite certain was clogged prior to putting Seafoam in (see blog like below...)) remains clogged. Also changing the oil again at that time.
I feel like I have been shamelessly plugging my blog here but if you want a low down:

It's 4 "chapters" and going....
Will do the intake but not sure just when yet; for clarity - I have not yet put any in the intake.

I seafoamed my 95 n/a 850 (currently with unknown duel delivery issues) last night.
I did 1/3 can into the oil, into the gas tank, and into the intake via the vaccum tree.
I have somewhat low compression on cylinder #5.
I let the car sit for 15 minutes turned off after sucking it into the intake.
After much smoke (not as much as my '54 ford smoked when I did it years ago) I got in and drove the car out in the country for about 6 miles.
The results? Honestly nothing magic happened. I'm going to pull compression numbers on it tonight after work, but I haven't noticed anything that changed negative or positive. My PCV system is free flowing, since I just replaced it last winter. My car was already idling OK and running OK other than this mystery cutout of power through mid throttle/RPMs.
I'm going to have the fuel pump replaced hopefully within a week (it tested as bad) and then hopefully we'll be able to put the car through its paces. Sadly the car STILL puffs steam out the dipstick even with the PCV system in tact and running the car without a flame trap in place.

Auto RX didn't do anything for me. Seafoam didn't do anything for me. Maybe my car runs like it's supposed to and I'm just expecting BMW inline 6 smoothness where it'll never happen.

Well, not much will "happen" if nothing was wrong.
You probably have another issue.
The car I did 2 weeks ago I just got back and test drove,
NIGHT AND DAY.
Car was a slug. Now as quick as any stock T5 I've ever driven and may even be even smoother and quicker than those were

Yeah, any of the unused will work, they all go to the same place.
