Finally finished the door panels
I bought which may have been the only set of Canadian T5SE (R style) door panels made in this color (Dark Taupe), but I needed to restore them.
(Holes, rips, tears, coming apart, etc.)!
Finally done and installed last night.... as perfect as possible!

Cosmetically (and almost mechanically), this T5 is DONE!

CLOSE UP (Guess I need to clean the plastic better!)

Hey the door panels look great (as does the car). Did you do them yourself or take them to a shop? looking into my options as mine have some rips and fabric loose in the corners.

I have an upholstery repair guy.
He did them at his home before I installed them
They were nastier than most so he spent a lot of time (and my money) on them to make them look literally as new.
He had to "regrain" ports of them. Certain portions plus the ends of two of them needed a lot of repair filler (BIG cuts and tears), but since these were the only ones I ever have seen in this color and the only ones in the world for sale, I paid.......!
(Turned out super nice)

You know I didn't mind the previous (aftermarket) grille but with the new jewels the XC grille suits really well.

Are you going to keep or sell?

The grill?
Sure.
That grill easily comes apart (8 little screws) so you can paint either the center eggcrates or the surround in a professional way and in your color scheme.
These actually come in semi gloss black.
My other one is on my wifes Black, I painted the eggcrates semi flat dark grey to match the lower grills, looks good.

The car itself, the T5M? Maybe in a year or so
