I think you should try another (higher) frequency...
15K sounds like a bit of a stretch... :D
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

Yes...
Sadly, they also strongly recommend not changing the power steering fluid and the transmission fluid...

Yes,but it's also time related. :!:
For example....15k or 6 months for severe service.Severe means a lot of stop & go,mainly, city traffic.
Regular maintenance for 15k OR 1 year is for mainly highway driving and min of city driving.
Either way...15k is long interval. :!:
Around 10k with the highest quality oil would be more apropriate.

Also....5w-30 is super thin for these cars.My advice is to switch to 5 or 10w-40.
If you have pretty cold winters go with 5w-40 and if you have moderate climate go with 10w-40.

There is NO one single benefit with power steering fluid replacement. :!: There are no side effects neither.

Also....original transmission fluid have lifetime warranty. It is also not red like aftermarket fluids....it have color just like regular motor oil.

Official Volvo statement is that they don't recommend auto transmission fluid IF there wasn't some kind of intervention on it.

...and the reason for this Official Statement is that it was made by the Volvo Accounting Dept.
They would gladly sell you a replacement power steering pump or rack or a transmission at the end of their life cycle, which is meant to be 100k

How do you do this? Rent a room and put a lot of cases of ATF in a circle?

Should I change the transmission oil on my manual aswell?

The 'problem' is I get free 5w30 oil from my neighbour, he has a garage. So 5w40 would cost me haha :)
My powersteering reservoir leaks from the top strangely.
