Someone left the inside timing cover off, any way to fix, short of tearing it down? like a after market or modified type cover, probably a dumb question tho, thanks.

I'm running with no timing belt covers. Don't worry too much about it.

WOW, you just made my day, I was really dreading trying to tear it down, just to put that cover on, that I would have to find somewhere, THANKS Lummert.

Almost forgot, the flame trap is gone, there's just the flame trap box, the rest is missing.

Still stalling while idling in park, wonder if it's an intermittent rsr or a vacuum leak because the flame trap is gone?

On the key on multimeter test , negetive to ground, positive to either side of the fuel injector connector, I'm getting 12 volts from both sides, is that correct or should one side be 0 or different?, thanks.

Key on, engine not running I get 0.00 volts between both primary connections. Doing it your way I get 12.5 volts from either side to ground. I had the engine stall one due to the coil primary connections were loose enough for one of them to come loose. Before the wire came loose the engine sometimes would act like the key was turned off for a few seconds, then back on. Make sure that the wires to the coil are tight.

Does it matter if the sparkplug wires were for a b230 instead of b234? I think they're the same but not sure.

16 valve engine spark plug wire set only fits 88-90 740 B234F and 91 940 B234F. Don't know if that would be an issue.
