Many have called me many things but EVIL has never been one of them (thanks a lot)!
That's not very nice, you got a real nice 5 speed and to this date I've only seen one other for sale. That had 150K miles and was a real POS.
At the time I really should have kept the one I sold to you, done the suspension and wheels, spoiler and whatever else it needed to bring it up to a JRL personal car, (it did not need much) and sell it to you a year or two later!

It is a sweet, sweet ride. Gas stations cry when I drive by. My territory manager can't stand that she gets only 35 in her crapbox economy car compared to my 33 in luxury

Well - update is that one year after noticing first slippage, and 3 miles form home (with BOS and NYC trips planned next week) I noticed a change in pedal action and this job's time has come.

I did well to go a year on a clutch needing service and the karma of having it go close to home will be paid back in full to others.

That's the karmic boomerang for mine going out a couple years ago 55 miles from home on Thanksgiving weekend with AAA refusing my tow request.

Update on this, two years later, and three years from first slippage

I stuck with the dual mass which is a much smoother action than the SMF, and 30,000 miles later this car clutches and shifts like a dream.

Long after the price of the DMF is forgotten, the silky smooth clutch action is enjoyed every day.
