Find this link on how to change transmission oil on a TF-80SC. It is for the XC90 but very similar to your application.

All back together and returned to my buddy. It runs great and the trans seemed to be fine as well. I ended up adding atf from the bottom with a pump. Thanks to everyone for all the help and advice. It's back to Bimmerland for me.
