99 S70 n/a Jumped timing belt, now replacing head

If you are sending the head for replacement or r/r you don't need to worry about cleaning the surfaces of the head. The focus then becomes on the block. I used a plastic scraper, DO NOT USE SHARP METAL, after I placed a few shop towels into the cylinders to stop a bunch of junk from getting in there. I shop vacd the loose crap up and then used pure acetone I got a beauty supply for dirt cheap to clean it up. I just used a shop towel and it took me several hours to really get it cleaned up good. But worth it when there's no leaking.
