Now you have got all the easy stuff done on the rear of the AWD S70, you need to find harder challenges like finishing your garage/workshop!

Quick question. What is the easiest way to change the trunk struts? Don't laugh, because I can't get the clip off and the side with the plastic hook is broken and just hanging there. I have to use a plunger handle for a prop. Lol

Just need to drop the upper plastic trim and you should be able to get to them pretty easily.

Replaced a transmission cooler line on the S70 before installing the replacement core support. It was BAD. Deep O2 sensor socket worked wonders to get the pipe fitting off on the transmission side. Had to soak it in PB blaster overnight after my adjustable wrench couldn’t crack it loose. Funny, I’ve grabbed two of these from the junkyard recently and neither took this much effort to break loose.
The car is looking much more complete now too. I just need to get a good pair of headlights and I can move onto the mechanical stuff, which fortunately isn’t very much.
I also swapped out the leaky, swollen power steering reservoir for the updated 2005+ P2 style reservoir. SOOO much nicer!

Ive often wondered if it was possible to retrofit the P2 style power steering reservoir. Clearly it is on C/S/V70s, but is it on 850s? If so, what's required/involved?

Someone at work very kindly scraped a bag down the entire length of the car, which motivated me to give the car a quick polish. Just a single stage affair with Megs 205 and a white HexLogic pad. 3 passes for the most part, 4-5 on the scratch. Came out pretty well, scratch is mostly gone but needs wet sanding in some places.

Nice for a 96!

We tried paint correction for the first time on our 08 C30 early Jan. Afterwards I saw the video below and will be mindful not to over correct on our next car.

C30: Washed then clay barred, DA with orange pad and Mothers Aluminum Polish, DA with black pad and Griots, Alcohol wipe and Avalon King Ceramic Coated entire car except rims.

Very helpful.

It's not a direct swap onto a -'98 car like it is on the '99+. I'm actually not sure it can be done, just due to the design of the older style pump having the reservoir built in.
