I've not heard of that, using oil.
I bought some tiny brass wire wheels for my Dremel - they lasted about 15 seconds.

Going through major withdrawals, having not driven or worked on Sveedy for 3 months, 2 days, so I dropped the fuel tank in order to replace leaking hoses. I wanted all the gas from 3 months ago out of there as well, so I won't have to worry about bad gas when I finally get to turn the key again. Getting worried that I won't remember how everything goes back together when I finally get the engine back from the machine shop.

I would not worry much about 3 month old gas or forgetting how to reassemble. The gas will be fine and you have friends with Volvos.

Fixed Abbys MCC lights. Well, got them working at least.

If we fully tighten the head into the cable mechanics, pressure on the circuit board turns them off. It’s not the connector or wiring

We just brought the two Torx screws into contact with the head and they work well , now she can see her AC controls at night commuting home!

Bulbs for the Mcc are NLA from Volvo but Mercedes bulbs fit , documented in Evita maintenance thread.

Evita is parked next to a nice neighbor . …

I do this. You disassemble, take a photo, bag & label hardware - it looks simple. Then time goes by, you start back in, and say, How the HELL is this supposed to go back together!?

Yes, although you take loads of pictures, there is never one for the part you just can't figure out from the right angle!

At least 40 pics, two legal pages of notes, everything bagged and tagged and MVS in my back pocket.

I will be fearless.
