It is, just avoid the edge where mine is bent lol. It’s a structural part of the car, so it’s a good solid lift point.

That's exactly where I always put my jack stands. Much better than the plastic bumper....

Seconded, this is where I lift with a wood block on top of the jack stand.

For safety reasons I try to avoid using blocks of wood between the jack stand and anything I am lifting. Although I am careful I have had instances of the wood breaking and slipping. Only time I use a piece of 1/2" is when carefully jacking the oil pan to check or replace the crank pulley motor mount.

I have thick rubber pads bought at Princess Auto up here that swap in place of my regular floor jack metal castellated lift pad.

These are just drop in items.

While I appreciate it is not what everyone can afford to do, I just bought a higher lift capability floor jack to lift my 4Runner as the regular 3 ton floor jack could not lift the car high enough to remove the wheels without using a piece of wood. I would have sold my old one but the new one is too big to go under the 'R'.

Please also always use jack stands under the car and do not rely on the floor jack to support your car.

I cleaned my rims again. Trying to get the buildup off. Last week I used Chemical Guys Diablo, which I've since read is better for maintenance cleaning of rims. This week I tried a Black Magic product and a Mother's foaming wheel cleaner. I used the Black Magic cleaner on all four of the rims, and on 3 it seemed to leave a bit if white haze, but did get more gunk off. I then did the front rims again, one with the Diablo, and one with the Mother's. They are getting better... which unfortunately, shows they're kinda beat up.

I’ve got one of the earlier runs of the cars, which had removable ball joints. A ‘93. Considered by some to be a handicap to own, considered by me, an advantage. Minor differences all around but I honestly prefer most to the latter inceptions. But I love ‘em all
