Cleaned the interior and reaimed the HID projector on the drivers side so it does not aim at the floor. After the exhaust replacement the car has been running like clockwork. What i thought to be excessively rich consumption was actually normal consumption without a cat. The new cat has elimintated my check engine light after 1000 km's of driving. Time to fix the stuck trunk open light and my dash will once again be clear.

Thanks for noticing this milestone. Just a number but it interests me also.

Harbor Freight has the same item, I used it to harvest a part from a donor - the part that didn't work. Cutter worked perfect.

I installed a new upper radiator hose and used the good old-school ABA hose clamps made in Sweden. The old hose was about 6-7 years old and was clamped with narrow GEM clamps... seemed to be loosening up from time to time. I'm going to try the good old blue ABA clamps and see how it goes.

Just got back last night from vacation to the south. 1,700-ish miles. No issues other than a random flat in the mountains of NC on the way home.
Luckily I decided to pack a full-size spare for the trip, so we were back motoring in around 1/2 hour (Took longer to unload/reload to get the spare out than it did to change it.)

Thanks. The poor thing really needs some cosmetic attention. Been looking for a rear bumper cover for a long while now. Running well with the rebuilt trans and rack.

Gotta toss the rest of the Perfos back on it while I sort out the Neptunes and tire situation. We have at least 2 bent ones now and now have 2 bad tires. The flat one, and one with a bulge in the sidewall from when she hit "something" not long before we left on vacation. Need to watch the yard for more XC90's.

We did encounter a silver 99-00 V70 not long after the flat. Cargo box and all. That was entertaining.
