2013 xc60
Hey guys, I’m trying to find info on removing the compressor clutch and possibly taking out shims or re-shimming. I know you can do this on other Volvos I’ve seen but I’ve not yet seen a write up for the 2013 xc60. The location of the compressor makes it appear difficult to remove. If anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

So, Its not so bad. Take out the airbox, intake, battery and battery box. Pop a 19mm wrench on the tensioner and secure it using a 3mm allen key as the pin to hold it loose. Take off the compressor bolts and move aside and then use a compressor clutch removal tool to pop the clutch off. After that remove how ever many shims you need to hit spec. The trouble is findings a small, thin, right angle feeler gauge to get in there.
