My 850 goings on ???

Post by loveMy850 »

Hi Guys been awhile, I think I blew a head gasket. I'm lost bc absolutely no Volvo mechanic around here. Need a rebuild, or letting her go. I'll sell. 😥😢really tears me up, but I can't rebuild her, don't have the means tried everything but the timing. Could it be the timing?

If it is the head gasket, then you need to get that fixed. I don't think anything timing related would cause head gasket like symptoms

What are the symptoms? Have you tried to test using the color change testing tube? If you suck air from the overflow bottle and the fluid changes color it indicated gas fumes leaking from the combustion chambers into the coolant system. This is an indication of a leaking head gasket.
