I had an issue with a 2008 V70 today.



The Parking Brake Failure warning came on the dash display. Both tires are turning freely, so they are not stuck on. However, typical of North America, they are never used anyway, so the owner does not care. They just want the light out.



When I ran the codes, I received a DIM-U014000 CEM-U012800



I checked the fuses and could not find anything.



Does anybody have any suggestions?

I have 2009 s80 awd t6, the same issue. The red park brake flashing for 3 years+. Everything seems working fine. I checked all ground connectors. Seems all tight. No rust.
Also I have Parking assistance service required and electric parking brake service required message. But it reminds me when there are barriers when starts the car, not parking the car
