850 Turbo Keyless entry problem/ Alarm/ dashboard lights Topic is solved

I have an 95 850 turbo. At one point the keyless entry just stopped working... I had volvo fix it and then once again it stopped working. Its been like this for a while. I tried to change the battery on the remote- no luck. Do I need to reprogram the remote? if so how do i do that? The cars battery has died a few times... would that have made the car lose the program for the remote?

I asked volvo about it and they were gonna charge 100 bucks just to hook my car up to some comp they have just to see what was wrong, not even fix it.

Also, the sound for my alarm is disabled... I dont know who did this since i never did. So when it does go off the lights just flash and it clicks instead of that loud honking it used to do as well.

One more- the lights on my dashboard for the climate control, speedometer etc... well one of them is out, how can i fix that? Just pop it open?

I believe mine has also been disconnected on my recently purchased 850. If you found out how to reconnect it, please let me know. Thanks.
