2009 V50 CCM "No Communication" fault. Topic is solved

Hi all

I have a problem where absolutely no climate related functions work. NO heat, cooling, fan,dampers, demisters etc.
It started out as intermittent a few months back, but now is permanent.
Radio and Car Setting controls work but can be very glitchy. All backlights and some button/ knob lights are flashing also.
I don't have Vida or Dice.

A dealer diagnosed " No Communication" . They visually checked the wiring and plugs and recommended CCM swap at about $1.5x the value of the car. I unplugged and replugged everything from the CCM and CEM with no change. No obvious pin, corrosion, wiring pinch, water or any other problem I could see. Jiggling plugs and looms has no effect.

I am looking at sending the module to XeMODeX for repair. Is this likely to fix the issue?

I've had this car for a few years now and really loved it until I had this problem. It makes me really mad that I can't just swap the module with a readily available second hand part.
