abs relay 1994 855 can it cause abs light on?

hi all i am still trying to sort the abs for good and found the relay had come off of its spring clip and was hanging by the cables which im guessing have not done it any good but i popped the cover off it and found 2 contact points inside if i trigger one with the probe from my multimeter i clearly hear the abs pump run but the other when triggered seems to do nothing,so question is could this be causing the abs warning light to come on? i have ordered a new relay anyway along with the brake pressure switch on the servo as it has brake fluid visible inside not on the outside and is again the original,cheers for any help

You will have a whole new car before you realize it!

As to your question on the relay, if everything is connected then no reason it would be the issue, unless the pins are corroded or a internal wire in the harness became damaged and intermittent.
