PCV Check valves

Post by C1ph3r »

99 V70 T5 - So when I did the PCV overhaul last year I didn’t do the Evaporative Emissions Hose from Volvo with the 2 little white check valves. That hose is crazy expensive so I just replaced the rubber parts. Are those little white valves something that can be replaced with a more universal check valve? Wondering if I need to replace it.
Here’s a screen shot of the hose from FCP

While still expensive, the part is way cheaper from Tasca at around $85 US, v's FCP @ $118.

I am not sure if those small valves are available separately. I would have thought so, but I'll need to check.

Is this the valve you are looking for:

thanks guys. mine are all one color. I did do the blow test when i replaced all the rubber line when I did the PCV system.

not sure if those linked to are the same but seems to me a one way check valve is a one way check valve. I may look into those linked to.

After shipping its only $7 less from Tasca. Might as well get it from FCP if I do when I order all the other mess I need.

thanks,
A.W.
