Radiators are the same...for cars with same transmission and non turbo.
Radiator for a car with auto transmission is different than for a car with manual transmission.

Cars with auto transmission have radiators with 2 cooling lines since one part of the radiator is for auto transmission cooling and the other part is for engine cooling.

If both cars are automatic you can swap them. Automatic radiators have transmission cooler line hookups on the drivers side, if it's a turbo it will have hookups for an oil cooler on the passenger side. You can use an automatic turbo radiator in a non-turbo car. If you still have the oil cooler in a turbo, you must get a turbo radiator.

I once had to replace the radiator on my previous 98 s base 'GT' 5sp. I could not find a listing specifying the manual model so I tried the new generic 'auto' unit a fellow Volvoist in Broken Bow had on hand. It worked for me. EDIT: I just took a minute to go check the Rotten Tomato's (see 98 v red in sig) radiator. Earlier this year, I totaled the front end and bought the 99 s awd listed in my sig as the donor car. The donor (turbo, auto) radiator was a 100% fitment on the Rotten Tomato.
