You should always buy the top one instead of the bottom one. The bottom one is likely squished.

You missed his point of, the wagon can carry the weight of the top one whereas the S70 can't

On bring a trailer.com there have been a few Volvos pop up that I've really been interested in.
https://bringatrailer.com/volvo/850/?q=volvo+850
Keep in mind my car, a 1995 Volvo 850 GLT wagon, originally sold to my parents for around $30,000. That is around $60,000 in todays dollars.
A few months ago a 40,000 mile 850 turbo wagon sold for $13k:

Here is a 60k milage 850 turbo wagon for $11k:

You're getting an extremely low mileage car that, with my driving habits at least, last me another 20 years!! I drive about 4k a year. With extremely low insurance costs, etc.
I just bought a new car, a Ford Maverick, for about $27k. It feels like it. Seats aren't great, long term quality of interior is already in question, etc. Of course, that's expected because it was roughly half of what the 850 was when it was new.
Had I not purchased my new car and thought of it earlier, I probably would've jumped on the low mileage 850 bandwagon. They are such great cars.

As of a couple of years ago I decided to only purchase vehicles with curtain bags, otherwise the 850 especially wagons are very nice cars to own.wheelsup wrote: ↑14 Nov 2023, 11:29 On bring a trailer.com there have been a few Volvos pop up that I've really been interested in.

I agree with you, part of the reason I moved forward with buying a new car. Although I guess I could've explored some later model year Volvos, which honestly I did look at, but was concerned with access to parts and repair costs since not very many were sold.MoVolvos wrote: ↑14 Nov 2023, 12:53As couple of years ago I decided to purchase vehicles with curtain bags, otherwise the 850 especially wagons are very nice cars to own.wheelsup wrote: ↑14 Nov 2023, 11:29 On bring a trailer.com there have been a few Volvos pop up that I've really been interested in.
