When I have time I will also do one for some of the relays used on P80's and locations with pictures to help hopefully those trying to buy parts. One cautionary note, some parts may not even be from P80's as some parts came back from the UK from my dad's garage when he passed. I have already found a 240 grill retainer!
So here we go:
1)These clips were in a bag I had identified as 850 under hood liner clips. Looking at Vida these don't show up anywhere? Anyone recognize any of them? The 'square' ones may not be from under the hood at all, but just in the bag.
Update: Well in the picture above, the rectangular clips at the bottom of the picture are what holds the pad under the hood on a 98-04 P80 (V/S/C70). Didn't recall that at all! Also a devil to remove!
Sveedy has identified the 2 others as from the under hood pad from an 850. So picture 1 has been completed!
2) More random clips, I believe most will be internal possibly. The 2 square plastic plugs look like they may be from a roof rack bar possibly?
Update: The top left clips have 2 variants. That one with a smaller 'flange' I believe is what holds the plastic cover for the rear carpet below the door. There is a 2nd version that does the same job for the front door which has a larger flange. Volvolugnut has also identified these as being used in P2's. As I don't recall removing any P2 internals, the source is baffling!?
The lower left clip is what holds the upper trim in place at the back of the side window in a P80 wagon. There are 3 of them that slot into the slots at the back of the metal frame around the rear side windows. That is also the same clip in 3) below.
3) No idea on any of these.
4) The top 2 clip types look familiar but can't place them. Lower one, no idea.
Volvolugnut also ID'd the top 2 'pin's as being from a P2 for holding the door card to frame. Again same comment. Don't recall removing a P2 door card, although I have a tailgate cover..........Hm........!
I'll give these a few days, and then start with bolts and screws (lots and lots........!)
No idea yet on the others. Maybe 850 parts. I may get time to look at one at another yard this week. Another yard visit is in my future!
Many thanks guys for the inputs so far! Nearly there. Some may not get identified, but that is ok. What I'll do is take new pictures with the identified parts removed so we are only focusing on the un-identified parts.
Neil.
