Hello Folks!
I'm new to this site. Reading without an account for quite a while tho.
Had quite some problems with my D5244T because of things the previous owner did (he didnt know what a torque wrench was)
But now it's running quite well I think.
When fiddling around with VIDA I ran the injector test and got some interesting results.
While the compression and combustion tests looked good, the fuel correction test did not.
After hours of research I dont know to fix this problem, if it even is one.
Here are the test results:
Compression: all cylinders between 195-199 rpm, looks healthy
Combustion: 718, 730, 702, 694, 666 rpm, with cyl 5 being the lowest.
Fuel correction: 6.94, 6.58, 5.99, 0.0, 33.73 mm³.
The engine runs okay-ish to fine, just some slight knock and a little blowby.
While searching I just found only this one forum thread (https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=158592).
Some person over there said that this was a "popular pattern" with correction: 7, 7, 7, 0, 36 mm³ or so.
But no explanation or such. Just guesses that that test dont work correctly.
Do you people know something about this correction pattern?
Did a return flow test quite a while back and dont really remember the results, nothing special iirc, will do one again soon.
Would really appreciate more info on this!

Just because you're trash, doesn't mean you can't do great things.
It's called garbage can, not garbage can not.

today I've swapped that injector #5 and still get around the same results with that injector test
Engine runs great so it's fine I guess.
