What are the torque specs for the two bolts holding this suspension arm for a 2009 S60 2.5T AWD? This is the arm for rear toe adjustment correct? I took a quick look and saw it had a slight bent to it so replacing it. Car still drives fine, no pulling and rear Toe In is around 1/8".

Sorry that I cannot help with this, but mind if I ask a question while we are discussing the rear suspension system?
I want to ask if there are any bushings beyond the subframe that can be replaced to improve the rear not feeling like crashing? I looked at the diagrams you have showed and I see nothing like that. As if it is a bushless system.

Typical Volvo, they call the are a 'Stay' in the parts listing/drawings and then call it a tie-rod in the repair instructions. So it took a bit to find it.
The inner end with the eccentric bolt is 80Nm as is the outer also 80Nm which id what I recall they use for a standard M12 bolt.

I took a guess of 60 ft lbs and 80NM is 59 ft lbs

This part was called a "control arm" by a shop that wanted to replace it on a 2004 XC70. Replaced both sides myself after finally realizing that Volvo calls it a "stay", as mentioned above. Removal required drilling out the siezed eccentric bolts. (Previous alignments apparently didn't touch the rear end.) Very unfun due to tight quarters and a long bolt but it worked.scot850 wrote: ↑24 Jan 2024, 17:09 Typical Volvo, they call the are a 'Stay' in the parts listing/drawings and then call it a tie-rod in the repair instructions. .
Did a 4 wheel string alignment today and the car is driving well. Toe is basically zero up front and the rear is 1/8" toe in on each side with a total toe of 1/4". May visit that another day but the car is driving straight with steering about an 1/8" of inch right of center so leaving it alone. The 95 Acura's Integras I aligned while working at the dealership also had more rear toe in for stability and I always tried to set the fronts to zero.
