Red Sox Commemorative C30?

Post by BlackBart »

They made 107 it says, the number of wins that season on the way to the WS.

You could just buy a red one and put some decals on.

"To really appeal to the baseball die-hards, every Red Sox C30 was authenticated by the Major League Baseball Authentication Program, and each one came with a certificate of authenticity that was signed by the President and CEO of Volvo North America and the President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox."

That's a good read, thanks.

Off topic for this forum but:
This Red Sox C30 reminds me of how Northeast region Volvo dealers sold a lot "Sportswagon editions" of the Volvo 850. The Sportswagon package consisted of a plastic badge the dealer could get and stick on the rear hatchback. That's it. The trim could be NA, LPT, HPT, AWD, R or whatever, you used to see these badges now and then on all versions of wagons. My first 96 NA wagon had one, I pulled the badge before I junked it and still have it in the garage. Somewhere.
