Fuel Pump Relay Location '05 V70 N/A
First, from my other cars listed you can see that I am really a "points and carburetors" kind of guy. In any case, I cannot seem to find any power the fuel pump end of things, even before PEM. One of my first steps was to test and replace the fuse (replaced on general principles) so I am confident that is good. That takes me to the fuel pump relay, I have seen several references to it but cannot locate it. I have checked the under hood box and the one at the driver's end of the dashboard. Has it been incorporated into the computer? Can anyone suggest its location (I believe it is different from '04)

you're going about this all wrong, at least get the circuit diagrams.
Or get vida and actuate the fuel pump by bidirectional control.
If the relay is on the CEM, then what ?
without a diagram you still don't know which relay.
try google, it gave me thousands of results for 05 circuit diagrams.

Going about it wrong way? I accidently left it running all night and it used up all of the fuel. I assumed pump burned up, so I replaced it. Now pump won't run. What is wrong with checking power source? Using the Navy theory of wiring, first jump to center of circuit to see if there is power, if yes defect is beyond it, if no, defect is ahead of it.

that should have been your first post, we aren't parts lookup guys.Faust wrote: ↑21 Sep 2024, 20:19 Going about it wrong way? I accidently left it running all night and it used up all of the fuel. was the pump burned up ?
did you check the fuse ?
is there any fuel pressure at all ?
is there signal at the fuel pressure sensor ?

Faust, the PEM is usually the weak spot on the P2 chassis. You might have to hunt for a spot to tap into the pump to do the 12 volt test. The pump gets modulated voltage on a P2 so it’s harder to test for the “ right stiff” than a P80
